Can I download TrialKit’s outputs, such as summaries or tagging, into PDF or Excel?

Not at this time, and that’s intentional. TrialKit is designed to make discovery easier to engage with inside the platform, where all files, transcripts, and summaries stay connected to their original source material.
The moment summaries or tags are exported into a static file like a PDF or Excel sheet, three problems arise:
1. Extra labor – Teams end up managing documents outside of the structured workspace, which takes more time and increases the risk of error.
2. Accuracy risks – If a system-generated summary is re-uploaded into the case, it can confuse the platform and reduce clarity.
3. Legal concerns – TrialKit supports you in the discovery process and organization, but we hesitate to allow downloads that could mistakenly be used in court as evidence. Keeping outputs inside the secure platform ensures that only the original, admissible discovery files are relied upon.

That said, we know some firms have specific workflows that may benefit from one-off downloads. Our development team can work with you to scope those needs, and in the future, we plan to offer controlled download options for particular elements. This way, your team gets the flexibility you need without compromising accuracy, security, or compliance.
